The seven provinces will all present the budget for the first time on Friday.
The seven provinces together will present budget of around Rs 208 billion. The federal government on May 29 had allocated conditional and unconditional budget to all the provinces.
Province 1 is preparing to bring a budget of Rs 35 billion. It was given Rs 19.88 billion by the central government.
Province 2 is preparing to bring a budget of Rs 26 billion. It was given Rs 16.19 billion by the central government.
Province 3, similarly, is preparing to bring a budget of over Rs 42 billion. It was given Rs 16.58 billion by the central government.
Province 4 is preparing to bring a budget of Rs 26 billion. It was given Rs 13 billion by the central government. The budget of Province 4 is focused more on physical infrastructure.
Province 5 has prepared a budget of Rs 30 billion. It was given Rs 16.54 billion by the central government. Chief Minister Shankar Pokharel also heads the financial affairs and planning ministry.
Karnali Province has prepared a budget of Rs 23 billion. It was given Rs 16.69 billion by the central government. The budget is focused on feasibility study of physical infrastructure.
Province 7 is preparing to bring a budget of Rs 26 billion. It was given Rs 14.25 billion by the central government.
