Rastriya Janata Party (Nepal) has submitted the corrected proportional list of provincial assembly members to the Election Commission (EC).
The EC had instructed RJP to correct its PR list of provincial assembly members stating that ranking was violated. RJP has removed six persons, who were included in the previous list, while submitting the corrected list.
The party had won 10 seats in Province 2, one in Province 5 and one in Province 7 through proportional representation (PR) system.
It has sent the names of Ram Naresh Raya, Jankari Sharan Sah, Netra Bikram Sah, Babita Kumari, Neelam Devi, Bhumi Harin, Anjan Kumar, Dr Dimple Jha, Nira Kumari Sah, Alka Kumari Sah and Rina Yadav from Province 2. It has similarly recommended Vim Panta from Province 5 and Malmati Rana from Province 7.
Netra Bikram Sah, Nira Kumari Sah, Alka Kumari Sah and Rina Yadav were not included in the previous list for Province 2 while both Vim Panta and Malmati Rana from Province 5 and Province 7 respectively were also not in the previous list.
Ram Pravesh Vaitha, Punam Yadav, Viva Thakur, and Laila Khatun–who were included in the previous list from Province 2, have not been included in the new list. RJP had included Sunita Chaudhary from Province 7 and Mohammad Qadir Sheikh from Province 5.
