Indian Ministry of External Affair Sushma Swaraj has returned after completing a whirlwind 23-hour visit of Nepal.
Swaraj, who landed at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) on a special plane at four Thursday afternoon, returned back on the same plane at three Friday afternoon.
She held one-on-one meetings at Soaltee Crowne Plaza with CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli Thursday evening, CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Federal Socialist Forum Nepal (FSFN) Chairman Upendra Yadav Friday morning.
She also had separate group meetings with UML leaders and leaders of chairman council of Rastriya Janata Party Nepal (RJP) at Soaltee Thursday evening.
She paid courtesy calls on President Bidhya Devi Bhandari at Sheetal Niwas and Prime Minister Sher Nahadur Deuba Friday afternoon.
