CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that the unification process of the Maoist Center and CPN-UML has consumed time as the issues of ideology, political structures and the principles were to settle.
Speaking at a news conference organized by Press Centre Chitwan chapter in Chitwan Friday, the Maoist Center Chairman said that discussions with the UML leaders were ongoing to settle ideological, political plan of actions and organizational structure of the new party adding that there was nothing to do with the post in the unification process.
"There are many psychologies and histories connected to the unification of the Maoist Center and UML. Finally, aspects of political ideology are the matters connected to these all," he added.
He also made it clear that there would not be tussle for post adding that incumbent chairs of both the parties served as the chiefs of the parties and the country's Prime Minister.
On the occasion, Dahal shared that the Bamdev Gautam-led committee was discussing about the priorities for good governance and development to advance the country towards prosperity and unite the party in an organized manner.
The Maoist Center Chairman also said that party unification would be conducted ensuring better patch up of all rank of file of the parties from top to bottom. He also said that he was expecting party unification and government formation hand in hand.
Dahal also said that modality of the party unification has reached the final stage.
