CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli and his CPN (Maoist Center) counterpart Pushpa Kamal Dahal will hold a one-on-one meeting to discuss party unification even on Tuesday. The chairman duo are expected to meet in the afternoon but the time and venue have yet to be revealed.
The two leaders will meet after a program at the Maoist central office in Paris Danda to mark the 'People's War Day', according to Maoist Spokesperson Pampha Bhusal.
The two leaders on Monday had agreed to complete the framework for unification before government formation. They have agreed to become co-chairmen of the unified party and take turn to lead the government with Oli becoming the prime minister (PM) first.
The duo will further discuss the unification process today. Leaders of both the parties have said that the agreement reached between the two leaders will be finalized by the meeting of the unification coordination committee scheduled for Wednesday.
