CPN (Maoist Center) will not send its ministers to the KP Oli's government Thursday.
Oli is scheduled to take oath of office shortly. Oli has been appointed as the Prime Minister with support from Maoist Center.
"As the discussion on unification of the two parties have not yet been concluded, we will not send our ministers to the government immediately," a Maoist Center leader told Setopati.
Leaders have said that the decisive discussion between CPN-UML and CPN (Maoist Center) will be held today itself. However, it is now unlikely as Oli has been appointed PM.
The two parties have agreed on leadership of the unified party. However, both the parties have yet to consult on the issues related to the modality of party unification and ideologies. UML leader Bam Dev Gautam said that parties after discussing on Wednesday have agreed on almost 95 percent on the unification.
Maoist Center has also confirmed that it would send the names of ministers to join the government once the party unification is finalized.
