The 68th Democracy Day is observed in Canada by organizing a program at Nepali Embassy in Ottawa, Canada Monday.
Extending tributes to known and unknown martyrs, who sacrificed their lives for democracy, Nepal's Ambassador to Canada Kali Prasad Pokharel said that he was active in promoting Nepal's trade, investment and tourism in Canada as well as strengthening Nepal-Canada mutual relations.
Similarly, representative of Canada-based Nepali organizations Prabhakar Regmi said that they have been making arrangement of teaching and learning activities for children in Nepali language for the promotion of Nepali language, literature and art.
