Nepali Congress (NC) will pass the amended statute for parliamentary party on Sunday.
The draft statute prepared by the parliamentary party and work performance committees on Saturday will be endorsed by the central committee meeting to be held at the central office in Sanepa on Sunday, according to NC Spokesperson Bishwo Prakash Sharma. The amended statute includes mandatory provision of one-third women representatives among others.
The meeting today, according to Sharma, will also form a committee for the process to elect parliamentary party leader. He added that the meeting, however, will not discuss the issue of electoral loss.
The joint meeting of the parliamentary party and work performance committees was held at the parliamentary party office in Singha Durbar on Saturday.
