Two cadres of Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) led by Netra Bikram Chand have been arrested with bomb from Jamal in the Capital on Tuesday.
A police team arrested Usha Kiran and Tara Sanjel with a bag carrying bomb.
Chief of Kathmandu Police SSP Bishwo Raj Pokharel said over 2,000 police personnel have been mobilized to prevent any untoward incident in course of the strike called by Chand led CPN.
SSP Pokharel stated that anyone vandalizing private property will be arrested and punished in accordance to the law. Bomb disposal squad of Nepal Army (NA) disposed bombs found in Naikap and Sundarijal of Kathmandu, according to SSP Pokharel. He claimed that there has been no other untoward incident.
Chand led CPN has called Nepal banda protesting arrest of its spokesperson Khada Bahadur Bishwokarma and other cadres.
