Members in the House of Representatives (HoR) have expressed their concerns over the apathy of government bodies to control corruption and irregularities pervasive nationwide.
Speaking at a special hour of the Parliament (HoR) session Monday, they said most of government bodies had failed to deliver results as per the public expectation.
Sher Bahadur Tamang said peoples' aspirations for economic progress would remain unmet until government office-bearers became responsible to their posts and duties. He demanded that property details of the persons holding the public posts be made public and this must be guaranteed by laws.
