Today's meeting of the House of Representatives has unanimously approved the bill relating to the Right to Food-2075, the bill related to Consumer Protection and the bill on Right to Employment-2075.
Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development Chakrapani Khanal had presented the proposal seeking approval on the same.
Earlier, Minister Khanal had also tabled the proposal seeking deliberations on the Bill on Right to Food-2075 along with the report of the Agriculture, Cooperatives and Natural resources committee.
Lawmakers Prem Suwal and Bimala BK had participated in the deliberation. Responding to the queries raised by the lawmakers, Minister Khanal had expressed his confidence that the Bill would be successful in ensuring the food sovereignty of the citizens of Nepal.
The meeting also endorsed the amendment done by the Committee on the clause 1 to 19 of the Bill relating to the Right to Food.
The meeting also unanimously approved the Consumer Protection Bill-2075. Minister for Trade, Commerce and Supplies Matrika Prasad Yadav had submitted the proposal on seeking deliberation on the same.
Similarly, the Right to Employment Bill-2075 was also unanimously approved by today's meeting. Minister for Labor, Employment and Social Security Gokarna Bista had tabled the proposal seeking deliberation on the same bill.
