Speaker hopeful of effective implementation of social security scheme

Speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara Friday said that the social security scheme unveiled by the government would be effective. At a program organized to release a novel ‘Lucky Charm’ written by Sabin Priyasan in Ghorahi, Speaker Mahara also said that the 16-day campaign on violence against women need to be launched in a successful manner. In a separate context, Speaker Mahara said that there is a challenge to amend some laws by mid-February 2019 adding that those laws would be scrapped automatically if they were not amended by the winter session of the House.
