Sita Dahal, wife of Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) Chairman and former prime minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, has been hospitalized at Sumeru Hospital in Lalitpur.
“She has been ill for a long time. She has been admitted at the hospital after she caught common cold in the past few days. It’s not a serious case,” a source close to the Dahal family told Setopati.
Sita was taken to Singapore for treatment toward the end of 2018 after tests at different hospitals in Nepal could not diagnose her ailment. She was diagnosed with progressive supranuclear palsy there.
Dahal had taken her to the Tatopani pond in Myagdi for water therapy in November 2018.
