An international congress of leftist intellectuals of Nepal, India and China is to be organized in Kathmandu next week on the occasion of 100 years of the October Revolution.
The Nepal Alternative Research Society is going to organize the Congress which will deliberate on mutual collaboration among communist forces of three countries and Marxism, said Society Chairman Dr Mahesh Maskey.
Professors, intellectuals, writers and student leaders would participate in three-day congress scheduled from November 8. CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli and CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal are scheduled to inaugurate the Congress.
A journey of prosperity would be determined if the leftist alliance fulfilled its commitment by getting victorious in the elections, said Maskey.
