As many as 13 million voters have been added in the voter list following the local level election held on May 14 and June 14 this year.
The Election Commission (EC) had finalized that there were total 1,40,72,424 voters in the country in the local level election.
According to the EC statistics, the number has now risen to 1,54,27,938 with an increase of additional 13, 55,514 voters as of August 21 for the upcoming federal and provincial elections scheduled for November 26 and December 7.
The statistics provided by the EC has shown that Jhapa has the largest number of voters. Jhapa that had 5,08,356 voters in the local level election, has now a total of 5,85,166 voters with an increase of 76,810.
Jhapa is followed by Morang and Rupandehi in the list having a high number of voters.
