CPN-UML leader Subas Nembang Wednesday said there was no alternative to the recently forged left alliance for the development of the country. He also lamented statements delivered reportedly by leaders of opposition political parties that authoritarianism would be introduced if the leftist coalition won elections. The UML leader was addressing an election campaign organized by the alliance in Ilam Municipality-9.
Nembang, who is vying from Ilam constituency 2 for the House of Representatives seat, urged voters to make the alliance poll candidates victorious for prosperity and sustainable development in the country.
"This coalition is not for only elections. Our (the alliance) ideology and thoughts are matched. It will unite after the elections for giving a direction ahead to the country," he said.
Likewise, Ram Rana, an election candidate for the State Assemblies elections from Ilam constituency 2 (A), said the alliance is for stable government and flourishing democracy.
