EC urges political parties not to use children in poll-related activities

The Election Commission has urged various political parties not to use children in election-related activities. Speaking at a program organized on Wednesday in the capital, Chief Election Commissioner Adyodhi Prasad Yadav urged one and all to be aware of keeping children away from politics and protecting their rights. He further said that he has been repeatedly urging senior leaders of all political parties not to use children during the election-related works. CEC Yadav appealed all the concerned authorities of the districts to start a campaign to discourage children's participation in election-related activities.
