Nepali Congress leader Prakash Man Singh Friday stressed the need to follow the principles and teachings of late Ganesh Man Singh, NC leader, and the supreme commander of the 1990 democratic movement to strengthen democracy.
He also praised the sacrifice of the late Singh, also known as ‘iron man’ in Nepali politics, for restoring democracy in the country, while garlanding the statue of the late Singh at Shovabhagawati on his 103rd birth anniversary.
In a different context, he accused the left alliance of trying to impose communism in the country.
Similarly, on the occasion, Minister for Youth and Sports Rajan Kumar KC recognized the contribution of the late Singh to restoring democracy as incomparable. Various programs are being organized today across the country to mark the day.
