CPN-UML senior leader Jhalanath Khanal has said that the left alliance would get a clear majority in the elections to the House of Representatives and State Assemblies.
Addressing the election gathering organized at Mai Municipality-10 Sunday, Khanal said that the left alliance would give a way out to the country by receiving a two-thirds majority in the elections. "Now the left alliance has moved ahead toward the process of unity. Nepali Congress and other parties are worried due to this," he said.
The senior leader of the CPN-UML argued that attack on left alliance's candidates is pre-planned, saying the alliance was forged with a plan to head the country toward the path of economic prosperity.
Also a former Prime Minister, Khanal said that a new plan to promote Antu, Kanyam, Sandakpur and Maipokhari tourism sites of the district would be brought and added that he is contesting the election with a plan to develop Ilam as a tourism district.
