PM's China visit uncertain due to lack of confirmation of Jinping meeting
The China visit of Prime Minister (PM) Pushpa Kamal Dahal scheduled for the last week of March is uncertain after failure to set up a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
PM Dahal is now unsure about the visit in lack of confirmation for the meeting with Jinping even though formal invitation for the program of Boao Forum scheduled from March 23-26 in Hainan province arrived Thursday evening, according to a source at Baluwatar.
PM Dahal had called coalition partners at Baluwatar for discussion last week saying he has received invitation from China for Boao Forum with promise of a meeting with Jinping. But the invitation had come through the Chinese Communist Party and not the government channel, according to the source.
The Foreign Ministry held discussion with Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Yu Hong Thursday evening after formal invitation did not arrive until Thursday afternoon. The Chinese envoy expressed ignorance about the invitation. The invitation from organizers of Boao Forum, however, arrived late Thursday evening after Baluwatar mobilized Nepali Ambassador to China Leela Mani Paudyal.
"There was talk about meeting with Jinping when the Chinese Communist Party first offered the invitation but there is a possibility that PM Dahal may not visit only for the annual program of Boao Forum," the source stated. PM Dahal has not taken the final decision yet but he is understood to be not inclined to go to China if meeting with Jinping cannot be confirmed.
The Foreign Ministry and the Nepali Embassy in Beijing are continuing their initiative to set up a meeting with Jinping but there has been no definite response from Beijing until now.

Not all, but many of the temporary teachers who have been wishing to become permanent, no doubt, appointed on the basis of their political ideologies. They couldn't succeed in the examinations despite repeated attempts. They carried the bags of those parties during their teaching career.
The Doklam dilemma
Being a buffer state between the two giant neighbors, Nepal should conduct its foreign policy vis-à-vis China and India in a very sensitive manner. Nepal has always maintained that it would not allow its soil to be used against any neighbor. At the same time, Nepal should make sure that its own national interests are never compromised.

The regional integration initiatives & Nepal
For the small landlocked economies, such as Nepal, regional integration is more of a necessity than a policy option. The ideal way forward for Nepal to gain most out of the economic integration would be to identify the key areas in which Nepal could contribute and facilitate the promotion of those sectors.

Menstrual taboo outdated
I have seen my sisters and friends isolated and treated in discriminatory manner during their first menstruation cycle. They were not allowed to look at the sun, to touch water source, flower, fruits, any male family member, nor even hear their voice. The activist may claim the situation has changed and I do agree but still during every month my loved ones turns into untouchables beings.
