Election environment heating up in Nepalgunj

Political parties are speeding up their various activities in view of the upcoming second phase local level elections to be held on June 14 in Province No 5.

The election environment had subsided after the election was fixed for two phases. Accordingly, the local level election in the Province No 5 is taking place in second phase.

The Nepali Congress district spokesperson Meghraj Oli said that the election environment was heating gradually and parties are active in publicity campaigns.

Similarly, CPN-UML district secretary Ratna Khatri shared that local leaders are busy in door-to-door campaign in various parts of the district.

CPN (Maoist Center) district leader Dambar BK also said that the parties are intensifying election campaign in the district.

On the other hand, Election Commission regional office, Nepalgunj has stated that the office is launching voter education.

The election atmosphere is gradually heating up in the district after the successful and peaceful completion of the first phase election in 34 districts of Province No 3, 4 and 6 on May 14. RSS
