UML demands fair investigation into Dolakha incident
Three lawmakers of the main opposition CPN-UML representing from Dolakha district have objected saying that the government mechanism itself was involved in obstructing the free and impartial execution of justice.
Speaking in a press meet organized in the UML's Parliamentary Party (PP) office in Singh Durbar Monday, lawmakers have drawn a serious attention of the government regarding a Jugu's incident. UML activist Kul Bahadur Tamang was killed in a clash between the supporters of the UML and CPN (Maoist Center) at Jugu in Gaurishankar Rural Municiplaity-2, Dolakha on May 10 during the first phase of local election.
They have said that the state mechanism was making conspiracies to escape the culprits. Lawmakers -- Pashupati Chaulagain, Anada Prasad Pokharel, and Parbat Gurung-- have said that the attorney general himself was involving to escape the culprits as the culprits were close to attorney general's ideology.
They have demanded for providing justice to the victims of such criminal case without delay adding that the office of the attorney general itself was obstructing to conduct a free investigation regarding the incident. RSS
