'Lifetime Achievement Award' for Rastrakavi Ghimire

Chahana Media Pvt Ltd based in Pokhara is to honor national poet (Rastrakavi) Madhav Prasad Ghimire with the 'Lifetime Achievement Award' including cash of Rs 51,111. Information about this was shared at a press meet here Friday. The award will be presented to the nonagenarian poet on April 28, according to Media chair Sahadev Koirala. Likewise, senior folksinger Buddhi Krishna Lamichhane will be honored with the title of 'Bishista Lok Sahityakarmi' along with cash prize of Rs 11,151. On the same occasion, awards under various 42 categories will be offered to personalities related to music field while singer Haridevi Koirala will be conferred with the Bishesh Samman (special award) by the media.
