One arrested with firearm

The Rautahat Police has arrested a person for possessing a muzzle-loader. Thirty-five-year-old Dharichhan Raut of Baluwatol, Gujura municipality in the district was arrested with the unlicensed firearm on Thursday. A police team from Harinagar police station took him under control acting on a tip-off that Raut was heading toward the forest to hunt wildlife. According to locals, wildlife poaching has increased in the district of late.
