Rs 1.14 m collected for buying ambulance

Approximately Rs 1.14 million has been collected under the ambulance purchase fund collection campaign here for buying an ambulance for Nepal Red Cross Society (NRCS) Nagarkot sub-branch. The NRCS Nagarkot sub-branch is preparing to buy a new ambulance after the old one that it had been operating broke down. NRCS Nagarkot sub-branch president Som Sharma Bajgain said they have so far collected Rs 1.14 for this purpose. Various individuals and organizations have contributed money for this cause. The sub-branch has been operating ambulance service at Nagarkot, Bageshwari and Chhaling areas of Changunarayan municipality in Bhaktapur and in areas around Mandan Deupur municipality in Kavrepalancchowk district as well.
