The 25th National Children’s Literature Conference is to be held here from March 8 to 10.
The conference to be hosted by the Nepal Children’s Literature Society, Kathmandu will feature presentation of working papers on the impact of folk literature in children’s literature, parent/guardian and children’s literature, child rights and duties in children’s literature, and interaction with teachers and guardians as well as an exhibition of children’s book, according to Secretary of the Society Yashu Shrestha.
The three-day conference shall also comprise story writing, painting, poetry recitation and workshop, theatre among other with involvement of children.
Children as well as writers, painters, editors, teachers, translators, singers, musicians, journalists, librarians, publishers will be taking part in the conference. The conference is being held since 2044 B.S. in different district every year.
