Around 75,000 people are assembling at Tundikhel coming Sunday to recite, "Buddha was born in Nepal".
World Record Holders' Council Nepal which is organizing the event shared this information at a press meet here Wednesday. The event will be a historic one in terms of the biggest number of people coming together to recite that "Buddha was born in Nepal" message simultaneously, Council Vice Chair Akkal Bahadur Tamang said.
The program will commence with the slogan of "Lumbini is the birthplace of Gautam Buddha and the place of the origin of Buddhism".
People taking part in the program shall enter Tundikhel from 11 am to 2pm. The recitation shall go for around 10 minutes.
Re-organisation from the Guinness Book of World Records will be sought for the event aimed at sending vibrant message- "Buddha was born in Nepal".
As many as 75,000 pass have been already distributed and it must be shown to enter Tundikhel for participating in the progam.
National level artists are scheduled to make their performance. Some 3,000 volunteers and 1,500 security persons shall be mobilized to manage the event.
