TIA shut down after US-Bangla plane crash

The Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA)  has been shut down indefinitely after the crash of US-Bangla Airlines jet Monday afternoon. The Bombardier Dash 8 Q400 plane coming to Kathmandu from Dhaka had an accident while landing at TIA at 2:18 in the afternoon.

TIA Spokesperson Prem Nath Thakur told Setopati that the airport will be shut down until the rescue work is completed and the debris is cleared.
