Two held with 1.4 kg opium in Balkhu

At least two people have been arrested along with 1.4 kg opium from Balkhu on Wednesday. The Narcotic Control Bureau of Nepal Police has arrested 29-year-year Ram Bahadur Tamang of Gajuri municipality-8 of Dhading in possession of 1.4 kg opium from Balkhu on Wednesday afternoon. Police also arrested 19-year-old Pawan Bishwakarma of Triyuga municipality of Udayapur and confiscated 683 Nitrajepam tablets. The NCB has said that the investigation into the case has been initiated.
