Woman held with 8 kg hashish in Rolpa

Police have arrested a woman along with 3 kg hashish in Rolpa on Tuesday. "38-year-old Ram Pyari Jhankri of Thulogaon-5 of Thawang rural municipality of Rolpa, was arrested along with 8 kg hashish," said District Police Office, Rolpa Chief DSP Gyanendra Phuyal. Police discovered the contraband while checking Jhankri's bag while she was traveling on a bus (Na 3 Kha 5644) at 10:30 am on Monday. She was arrested by Area Police Ghartigaon. Rolpa Police spokesperson Sudarshan Panthi said that the passenger bus in which Jhankri was traveling has been taken under control and investigations have been initiated.
