Police on Tuesday arrested three persons for alleged involvement in gang rape of a woman in Kalanki.
The Metropolitan Police Circle, Kalimati had started a search for the woman after receiving a missing complaint. The rape case came to the fore once the woman was later found in a hotel.
The police arrested Arjun Lama of Ralukadevi rural municipality of Nuwakot, Surya Rana of Nagarjun rural municipality of Kathmandu and Ram Krishna Nagarkoti, the owner of a hotel at Bhimdhunga Nursery for their alleged involvement in raping the woman.
Additional investigation into the case is underway, police informed.
