Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the Tribhuvan University should pay its attention in producing highly-skilled human resources required for prosperous Nepal.
Addressing the general meeting of the TU Senate in Kirtipur Tuesday, Prime Minister and the University Chancellor Oli stressed that the TU should make its teaching method modern and technology-friendly.
He said, “We have put in place all the required systems for the people. Now no one can stop in making the country a prosperous due to this. We have no excuse to escape from the responsibility by blaming others.”
The Prime Minister said that the TU should work to reform its curriculum to revive the deteriorating moral values, stressing that one should not gain only knowledge from education, but also build a good character.
Meanwhile, the TU Senate passed Rs 21.10 billion budget for the fiscal year 2018/19.
