The Nepal Poultry and Livestock International Expo, 2017, Nepal's first of its kind, concluded amid a program in Chitwan on Sunday.
Speaking at the event, the National Planning Commission member Dr Prabhu Budhathoki stressed the need for focusing on freshness and quality while producing meat.
Likewise, other speakers including the district coordination committee deputy chief Muna Shrestha, and Vice Chairman of the Nepal Poultry Federation Tikaram Pokharel complained that the government could not provide help as expected in the poultry sector.
Organized three days ago, the expo had 170 stalls, and experts in the related field presented six working papers in the event.
