Five Indians injured in Baglung truck accident


Five people were injured in an accident involving a truck at Badigaun rural municipality-2 in Baglung along the Mid-Hill Highway Tuesday morning.

The truck (Na 3 Kha 3785) overturned on the roadside near Labdhi River bridge as he was heading toward Gwalichaur carrying logistics required for setting up amusement rides at a local fair there.

All the injured are Indians. They are Kalicharan Kashyap, 62, whose identity is yet to be ascertained, Akbar Khan, 23, Rahul Khan, 36, of Utter Pradesh, Pankaj Kumar,32, and Imran Khan, 40, New Delhi, India, police said.

Among them, the condition of one is said to be critical and they are receiving treatment at a local health facility.
