The fire that broke out at the Patan Industrial Area Tuesday evening has come under control 16 hours later Wednesday morning.
Spokesperson of Lalitpur Metropolitan City Raju Maharjan told Setopati the fire that started at Anand Plastic Industry inside the industrial area at around 6:30 Tuesday morning has been taken under control Wednesday morning.
Other industries did not catch fire as the walls of Anand Plastic Industry are high. There has been no human casualty but the fire still damaged materials and properties worth tens of millions.
Fire engines from Lalitpur, Kathmandu and Bhaktapur were used to control the fire. Nepal Army, Nepal Police and Armed Police Force (APF) were also deployed to control the fire.
