A team comprising Minister of State for Education Dhanmaya BK on Sunday inspected Secondary Education Examination (SEE) centers in Bhaktapur. The SEE is taking place from March 16 across the nation.
BK visited Everest Secondary School, Megha Secondary School, Shanti Niketan Secondary School and Chanakya Secondary School while Education Secretary Shanta Bahadur Shrestha visited Adarsha Secondary School.
Similarly, Director General of the Department of Education Baburam Poudel also monitored Sri Krishna Secondary School exam center at Kharipati.

Chitwan police destroy large amount of hooch
Police has confiscated and destroyed a large quantity of home-brewed liquor including the ingredients from different places of the Chitwan district over a period of 10 days. A total 23,550 litres of liquor has been destroyed by the police as part of its campaign of cracking down on illegal production of alcohol in the district. The campaign was started on April 17.

Spacecraft flies between Saturn and rings in historic 1st
Cassini was out of radio contact with Earth as it became the first spacecraft to enter the gap between Saturn and its rings. That's because its big dish antenna was maneuvered face forward to protect science instruments from potentially damaging particles in the rings. The antenna could sustain minor damage like a small hole and still function properly, according to officials.
Sunsari fire reduces six houses into ashes
The fire spread from the house of Haris Ansari, a local, had destroyed six houses of six families, the District Police Office, Sunsari confirmed. Deputy Superintendant of Police Praveen Dhital informed that the fire gutted houses of Hasim Ansari, Baros Ansari, Haris Ansari, Jamal Ansari, Usman Ansari and Harun Ansari.
Challenges for reconstruction
One of the major challenges faced in the reconstruction process of Nepal is the absence of elected local government. Lack of government in local level was reflected in the major pre-disaster and post-disaster events, where it took months to reach the affected region and still no widely-accepted data is available. In the absence of an elected local government, top-down approach of governance has its own accountability deficit.

Menstrual taboo outdated
I have seen my sisters and friends isolated and treated in discriminatory manner during their first menstruation cycle. They were not allowed to look at the sun, to touch water source, flower, fruits, any male family member, nor even hear their voice. The activist may claim the situation has changed and I do agree but still during every month my loved ones turns into untouchables beings.
