Salt Trading extends support to Chepang children to mark 55th anniversary
Salt Trading Corporation Limited, Chitwan has extended assistance to the children sheltered at the Chepang Conservation Center at Gombensi to mark its 55th anniversary.
The Corporation cut short its unnecessary spending on anniversary day to provide food commodities to the Chepang children, Salt Trading Corp Chitwan's Section Chief, Buddhi Binod Dahal said.
Dahal added that the corporation decided on elevating itself from the trend of collecting money among the employees to celebrate the anniversary and raise funds to provide meals to the poor people.
The corporation provided rice grains, pulses, peas and potatoes, among other vegetables to last for 15 days to 102 children at the center.
Centre's Chief KP Kiran Sharma said the support has meant a great relief for the children facing a recent short supply of food commodities. RSS
Fire breaks out at Baitadi-based NEA Distribution Center
