Sajha Yatayat brings electric buses in Kathmandu (Photos)

Sajha Yatayat has brought electric buses in the Kathmandu Valley on Tuesday.

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli inaugurated the buses developed by Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer BYD amid a program.

Sajha Yatayat, that prepared to bring five electric buses in its preliminary phase, has brought two electric buses in Kathmandu Valley as preparations are on to bring the remaining buses.

These buses will ply on Lumbini area as per the agreement reached between Lumbini Development Trust and Asian Development Bank (ADB).

However, Sajha Yatayat will ply these buses in the Kathmandu Valley until the Gautam Buddha International Airport comes into operation.

These buses with 20 seats are equipped with CCTV surveillance cameras and hangers for standing passengers.
