NC to review party’s position in elections

The main opposition Nepali Congress (NC)’s central working committee meeting is scheduled to meet at 11 am Friday to thoroughly review the party’s defeat in the elections to the House of Representatives and Province Assemblies.

NC’s spokesperson Bishwo Prakash Sharma told RSS that the Central Working Committee would review the party’s unexpected defeat in the polls.

This would be the first meeting of the NC with the agenda for discussions about party’s defeat while it is the fifth central working committee after the elections to the House of Representatives and Province Assemblies.

Spokesperson Sharma said there would be a thorough review in today’s meeting about the elections results though erstwhile meeting held normal discussions.

He also shared that the meeting would fix the date and venue for the party’s Mahasamiti Meeting.
