Nepali Congress (NC) has decided to send two leaders to New Delhi on Tuesday to take stock of the health of its leader Khum Bahadur Khadka who has been undergoing treatment there.
The ongoing central committee meeting of the party on Monday has decided to send central members Shankar Bhandari and Ramesh Lekhak to Delhi, chief secretary at the party's central office Krishna Prasad Paudel told Setopati.
Khadka has long been suffering from kidney and neurological problems. He has been undergoing treatment in India since February. The central committee member also wished for prompt recovery of Khadka.
Leaders continued to voice their opinions during the ongoing meeting for review of the electoral loss of the party even on Monday. Central members Bal Bahadur KC, Shekhar Koirala, Ananda Prasad Dhungana, Jeevan Pariyar, Govinda Bhattarai, Ram Krishna Yadav, Dila Sangraula, Ramesh Lekhak, Sarita Prasai, Laxmi Pariyar, and invited member Bal Krishna Paudel shed light on the reasons for the party's loss on Monday, according to NC Spokesperson Bishwo Prakash Sharma.
