Rastriya Janata Party Nepal (RJP) has delegated the task of preparing the parliamentary party statute to co-chairman Laxman Lal Karna. A parliamentary party meeting on Thursday took the decision to that regard.
Leaders of the chairman council are showing interest for the post of parliamentary party leader. RJP has not been able to select parliamentary party leader due to a large number of aspirants. Leaders of chairman council Mahantha Thakur, Rajendra Mahato and Mahindra Raya Yadav have been claiming for the post.
The party has also decided to extract a monthly levy of Rs 10,000 from each of its federal lawmakers. It has 19 federal lawmakers.
The meeting also decided to draw the government's attention toward administering oath of office to its lawmaker Resham Chaudhary who is currently in jail, according to leader of the chairman council Raj Kishore Yadav.
