NA passes condolence motion in demise of former lawmaker Alam

Today's meeting of the National Assembly has unanimously passed a condolence motion on the demise of former lawmaker Mohammed Mustaq Alam. The leader of the Communist Party of Nepal, and former Minister of State died of cardiac arrest in the night of July 13. He died while undergoing treatment at Bansabari-based Shahid Gangalal National Heart Center. In the meeting, NA Chairperson Ganesh Timilsina read out the condolence motion. A minute silence was also observed in the meeting in the death of Alam. The NA will meet next at 11:00 am on July 24.
