Prime Minister (PM) KP Sharma Oli has claimed that the government will control activities of the Netra Bikram Chand-led CPN by the end of the current Nepali calendar year.
"The activities will be controlled within a month," PM Oli stated during the parliamentary party meeting. "It will be good if they mend their ways. They will join the mainstream through the jail within a month otherwise."
He added that the government has been preparing for the investment conference starting from Friday. "Preparations for investment conference are enthusiastic," he said. "There will be no difference if some do not show interest. All of them have their own interests," he added hinting at the reported boycott of the conference by some western countries.
He claimed that the government has been falsely criticized despite good performance. "Do go to the villages and end the misconception. Do inform the people about the good works the government is doing," he instructed the lawmakers.
He also asked the lawmakers to bring suggestions about the programs to be included in the federal budget. "The budget session of the parliament will start in a month. Do go to the villages and bring the good programs that need to be included."
