Deliberation on policies, programs begins today

Today’s meeting of the Federal Parliament’s House of Representative is going to hold deliberation on the government’s policies and programs for the new fiscal year 2076/77 BS. In the meeting, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to table the proposal to discuss and deliberate on the same. Earlier, on May 3, President Bidya Devi Bhandari had presented the government’s policies and programs for the upcoming fiscal year at the joinT meeting of the federal parliaments. Nepal Workers' and Peasant Party’s Prem Suwal, Nepali Congress’ (NC) Dr Minendra Rijal and 22 other lawmakers from NC, Rastriya Janata Party Nepal’s Rajendra Mahato, Laxman Lal Karna, Chanda Chaudhary and Chandra Kant Chaudhary have registered amendment proposals on the government’s policies and programs in the parliament. The recommendations furnished by the lawmakers on the government’s policies and programs would also be presented in today’s meeting.
