CPN secretariat meeting postponed for Sunday

The secretariat meeting of ruling CPN scheduled to be held at Paris Danda Friday has been postponed for Sunday.

CPN Spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha said the meeting had to be postponed as ministers in the secretariat will have to be busy to prepare for celebrations of the Constitution Day on Saturday.

Secretariat members Iswhore Pokharel and Ram Bahadur Thapa are deputy prime minister and home minister respectively.

The meeting will now be held at the office of erstwhile CPN (Maoist Center) in Paris Danda on Sunday.

The erstwhile office of CPN-UML in Dhumbarahi is being used as the central office of the party formed after unification of the two parties. But CPN has been holding almost all the party meetings in Baluwatar since Oli became prime minister.
