Rs 300,000 safety insurance to each employee mobilized during election

The Election Commission has arranged safety insurance of Rs 300,000 to each employee mobilized for the election. If the employee becomes injured while discharging his/her duties during the covered period, he/she would be paid against treatment bills, while Rs 2 million would be provided in case of death. The employees deputed at the office of the election officer, poll center, office of chief returning officer, and the employees and officials at Election Commission who are bearing various responsibilities during the election to the House of Representatives and Provincial parliament would get the insurance facility. Others to get the insurance facility are election observers, cadres, teachers, and volunteers mobilized for voter education, supervisor of voter education, district training coordinator, and election monitors.
