A six-point agreement has been signed between the Madhyapur Thimi municipality and the National Tuberculosis Centre here Tuesday.
Accordingly, the Center will provide 50 percent quota to the local residents of the municipality in the appointment of any staff on a contract basis. Likewise, both sides agreed to make health and environmental impact assessment and take measures to adopt precaution toward that end.
Likewise, in the service that would apply some cost at the center, the local residents will get a discount of 75 percent while those from Bhaktapur will get 25 percent concession.
Municipality mayor Madan Sundar Shrestha and the Director of the Center Dr Kedar Narsingh KC signed the agreement at a function held at the municipality office.
