Memo submitted to PM for Dharahara rebuild

A local struggle committee on Thursday submitted a memorandum to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli demanding rebuild of earthquake-devastated Dharahara. The local struggle committee namely 'Save our National Heritage, Rebuild Dharahara' submitted the memorandum to the PM with signatures. Struggle Committee Coordinator Bed Prakash Gautam said that the memorandum was submitted to remind the rebuild of Dharahara. The memo was submitted to PM though his personal secretary Yubaraj Dahal. The memorandum stated that there should be no construction of any commercial building in the surrounds of Dharahara and the site should be developed as a tourism hub. The Committee had collected signatures from March 21 to 23 demanding immediate initiative for Dharahara rebuild.
