A national-level seminar and exhibition on recent advances in Ayurveda is to be held for the first time in Nepal.
The objective of the event scheduled for April 7 in Kirtipur is to find a venue for the exchange of latest research works, findings and advances in the area of Ayurveda, the ancient science of medicine, according to Nepal Ayurveda Medical Students’ Society which is organizing the event.
Ayurveda experts from home and abroad will share information about the development of Ayurveda and latest achievements/advances in this field during the day-long seminar.
As the society says, the seminar aims to draw the attention of stakeholders concerned for discussions to seek better ways for its promotion.
“Ayurveda has significant contribution in maintaining human health and it must be promoted,” asserted Ayurveda physician Dr Suman Khanal.
Ayurveda experts, practitioners, indigenous healers, students and academicians will be participating in the event supported by the National Ayurveda Students and Youth Association of India.
