Accused on witchery charge remanded to prison

Six people involved in the incident of physical abuse on a woman at Ghodaghodi municipality on witchery charge have been remanded to jail. They have been sent to jail for further investigation on orders of the District Court. Radha Chaudhari of Deukaliya, Ghodaghodi municipality-5 was physically assaulted by some people on March 8 accusing her of witchery. Those remanded to jail are accused Ram Bahadur Chaudhari alias Bhole Baba and his accomplices Kismati Chaudhari, Smarika Chaudhari, Ved Prasad Chaudhari, Chanakala Chaudhari and Sitarani Chaudhari, the District Police Office, Kailali said. The victim has returned home some days back after undergoing treatment at the Seti Zonal Hospital.
